Lost Lands is returning to Legend Valley from September 22nd to the 24th this year, bringing some of the heaviest bass to Ohio. For its sixth year, the festival has been putting attendees’ feedback at the front of its mind. As we get ready for next month, here are all of the improvements Lost Lands is making this year.

Lost Lands is 18 and older and government-issued IDs must be present at the site. The festival officially begins on Friday. For campers with Early Entry wristbands, the grounds and box offices will open at 7 p.m. on September 19th and are open 24 hours. Every campground has different arrival and leaving instructions, so be sure to follow the driving directions on Lost Lands’ social media pages. Showers are going to be across the venue for a small fee.

Anyone with a wristband can enter the GA and RV campgrounds, and every attendee can reenter as they please. Those who are not camping can use the Dino Express Shuttle to get from Columbus to Thornville or can buy a parking pass for non-camping cars. Rain or shine, the festival will continue, so prepare for all types of weather.

A temporary pedestrian bridge is being used over Route 13 to help with foot and vehicle traffic. Upon entry, more GA lines have been added, and another VIP entrance is going to be utilized. They have announced that they are using new metal detection units to make security screenings go quickly and efficiently.

Charging lockers and water refill stations are going to be available all around the grounds. The festival recommends bringing your own water bottle or hydration pack, but $2 bottles are for sale. Lost Lands is keeping every diet in mind and providing numerous options for vegan, gluten-free, and more diets.

Excision’s iconic bass festival, Lost Lands, is less than a month away and the lineup has some of the best dubstep DJs. Its reach goes much further than the music, though, as it continually improves conditions based on reviews. Medical staff and a Patron Response Center will be available the entire weekend and harm reduction remains a significant part of the festival.

Get ready to party with the dinosaurs and remember to respect them, care for the environment, and leave no trace. With over 100 acts on its lineup, the sixth year of Lost Lands is continuing its pattern of changing the festival game. Take care of each other this festival season and be safe!
