Shaquille O’Neal has taken his talents from the NBA court to iconic festivals, curating shows that support and give back to the electronic music community under his stage name, DIESEL. Now, Shaq is debuting his first festival, SHAQ’s Bass All-Stars: Festival, inviting headliners Alison Wonderland, Kai Wachi, Sullivan King, and Crankdat to throw down at Panther Island Pavilion on September 16th.

With two stages and fifteen acts, the lineup was hand-picked by Shaq who, “…wanted to shine a light on some of my favorite producers who do not get enough credit for their work.” LAYZ is returning to the Bass All-Stars stage, joined by Emorfik, Hairitage, and Kozmoz. Dubstep producers Sharlitz Web and Soltan are also playing, along with a b2b from Ruvlo and Celo

Shaq has been supporting bass producers of all sizes since he made his festival debut at TomorrowLand in 2015. The DJ curates his headlining shows to include sets and tracks from his favorite artists, up-and-comers, and everyone in between. A week before the festival, he will be hosting Bass All-Stars in Denver with an all-women lineup at Mission Ballroom.

In his seven-part announcement on Twitter, he wrote, “When I first started DIESEL and came into this scene I promised I would do everything I could to move the bass community forward. I wanted all of us to feel the love that everyone has for each other and our culture. This festival will embody all of that. Thank you for letting me be a part of this.”

Packed with a bass and a promising massive production, DIESEL’s first festival is already highly anticipated by fans who have expressed their excitement. Check out the official website to receive updates as we get closer to September.
