Subtronics has released “Omnidirectional,” a single that has built on the producer’s dubstep repertoire. The artist referred to “Omnidirectional” as “very heavy” several times, and it has certainly met that expectation.

“Omnidirectional” begins with laser sounds and a wicked laugh before the listener is thrown into a moment of pure bass. Harmonious synths are followed by contradicting mechanical noises before the hook, “Get a load of this!” summons the drop. The second half sounds slightly distorted with hard-hitting drums and sharp synths that bring the track to a close.

“Omnidirectional” is Subtronics’ first solo drop since the release of his debut album FRACTALS and its remix album. The producer has, however, released several collaborations with artists like Ganja White Night, HOL!, and Excision.

The artist is keeping listeners on their toes with promises of new music soon. On X, he wrote, “[THERE’S] PLENTY MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM [hands covering eyes emoji] [blushing emoji].”

The release of “Omnidirectional” comes just after the announcement of Subtronics’ Tesseract Tour. The tour will take Subtronics around North America in February and March with support from artists like Wooli and Hedex

The last few years have been successful for Subtronics and it seems as though he is getting ready to end 2023 with a bang. “Omnidirectional,” is out now on every streaming platform. Watch the hypnotizing visualizer here:
