Kill The Noise Releases “Ultraviolent” with Shadow Cliq

Kill The Noise is dropping the first singles off of his upcoming third album, HOLLOW WORLD, beginning with “Ultraviolent,” in collaboration with Shadow Cliq. “Ultraviolent” draws inspiration from heavy metal on top of its electronic element, laying insane electric guitar riffs performed by Shadow Cliq themselves and dominating percussion as a foundation for their menacing vocals and screams.

The release is a long time coming, as Kill The Noise has included it in his sets since Lost Lands in 2022. Most recently, he played “Ultraviolent” during his set at Ultra Music Festival, which was met with fan reception and requests for the ID. The announcement of his third album has been met with support from fans who are excited to embrace the producer’s next era.

Modern rock band, Shadow Cliq, recently found success on TikTok with their distinct future metal sound. Consisting of guitarist and vocalist, Annie Shred, and DJ and producer, Danny Dodge, their sound is new and blends well with Kill The Noise’s dubstep. Using gunfire in the background brings the track together, fitting the lyrics.

“Ultraviolent” is releasing on Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records, a producer and label that Kill The Noise and Shadow Cliq have worked with. In 2022, they all came together for their genre-bending VIP of “The Blood.”

Despite creating music for over a decade, Kill The Noise has only released two albums. He released OCCULT CLASSIC in 2015, and EMBRACE in 2022. In those six years, Kill the Noise released numerous singles and worked with Skrillex, Big Gigantic, and most recently, Wooli.

This single is only building the anticipation for Kill The Noise’s third album. There is no release date for HOLLOW WORLD yet, so while we wait for more details, listen to “Ultraviolent” here:
