For anyone that has listened to Blanke before, one thing that might stick out in your mind is that he can do it all. He has such range as an artist and has continuously showed that off over several years now. From his melodic masterpieces such as ‘Survive’ and ‘Flatline’, to drum and bass bangers such as those on his ÆON:MODE EPs, he is now adding to his library on the heavy side. ‘Deranged’ and ‘Monster’ came out via Deadbeats on May 19.

These two tracks have a very interesting mix of sounds that might remind you of some of his older EPs such as ‘Change & Decay’. They also show off his evolution as a producer and newer heavy sounds that have been perfected over recent years. They are a bit more up-tempo than a lot of dubstep you might hear these days, but flow nicely and really have a distinction that can be identified as Blanke’s sound.

He has consistently ascended as an artist for quite some time now, playing on the biggest stages of Circuit Grounds at EDC Las Vegas, the mainstage of the Gorge Amphitheater, Lost Lands and more. Collabs with Illenium, Zeds Dead, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Seven Lions and Jason Ross have allowed him to fully expand his reach in the electronic community, and he has continued to build on unrelenting momentum. He certainly shows no signs of slowing down, either.
