On April 29th, Subtronics broke a state record when playing at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. The promoters, Relentless Beats, confirmed that the show is the largest bass music event in the state. The artist broke an individual record as well, playing his largest headline show thus far with 15,000 people in attendance.
With support from SweetTooth, Grabbitz, Level Up, and Rusko back-to-back Dirt Monkey, it is no surprise that the show successfully drew in thousands of fans. It was confirmed that GA passes sold out, the few VIP tickets available before he went on.
Phoenix Raceway opened in 1964, hosting two NASCAR race weekends annually and occasionally hosting electronic music shows. They have welcomed GRiZ, Zeds Dead, TOKiMONSTA, and hosted Decadence Arizona in 2022. With all of the acclaimed artists that have performed, Subtronics took the crown for most in attendance.
The dubstep producer is known for creating tracks with wonky drops and unique bass, finding success in his ever-evolving music. Subtronics’ productions are just as insane as his music itself with an influx of lasers and crazy visuals to compliment his slightly chaotic creations.
Subtronics is coming off his massive Antifractals Tour and continues to rock the bass world as he plays shows worldwide. He performed to a sold-out crowd at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre shortly after and is playing shows in North America this summer, including festivals GRIDLIFE Midwest, Lollapalooza, and Veld.
After an insane 2022, Subtronics is continuing to blaze through this year, breaking records as he plays shows around the world. Get a full list of his upcoming shows here. His latest remix of “It’s Our Destiny” by IMANU is available to listen to on all streaming platforms.
