Tape B has officially released his chill, yet bass-filled EP, Over Saturated, on Deadbeats. The four-track EP takes listeners through a sonic experience packed with the producer’s signature hip-hop-influenced sound and low-frequency bass.

As soon as the EP begins with “Let Me Go,” a piano fades into wonky bass and melodies that compliment the begging lyrics, “Why don’t you let me go?”. The title track, “Over Saturated,” is packed with layers of bass and prominent drums.

The third track, “Another Night Alone,” begins with a melancholic piano section before vocals and bass blast into the build-up and a funky drop. It ends with a chill, yet energetic collaboration with Tech B called “Voices.” The EP elevates Tape B’s distinct sound and taps into different vibes while staying cohesive. Each song is compelling and stays different than the one before.

In his post about the Over Saturated’s drop on Instagram, Tape B wrote, “Y’all have been asking about these songs for quite a bit now and I am so excited to finally get these out with the help of one of my favorite label!! We hope y’all enjoy the music.” He has released music on Deadbeats previously, contributing his creative blend of melodic dubstep, trap, and experimental bass to the label.
