Jason Ross And Seven Lions Release Ninth Collab “Darkness"

Jason Ross and Seven Lions have teamed up yet again for their uptempo collaboration, “Darkness.” The two have worked together numerous times in the past, first teaming up in 2017 with “Higher Love.” They have released nine songs and taken the stage together countless times in the last six years.

The artists’ blend of melodic dubstep and ventures into other electronic music genres keeps listeners on their toes every time and leaves them craving more. “Darkness” is following that path as it blends several genres together including psytrance and techno.

Singer-songwriter GG Magree is on “Darkness” with her captivating vocals and heartfelt lyrics. An energetic progressive house drop follows rhe hook, “In all of the darkness / I’ll still wait for you,” while keeping their signature melodic bass as present as ever.

“Darkness” has been released on Seven Lions’ record label, Ophelia Records, which was established in 2018. Since being founded, Jason Ross has released a handful of singles and collaborations, as well as his latest album, Atlas. His track with Seven Lions dropped around the same time as his ‘Atlas Takeover’ shows at Terminal 5 and the Hollywood Palladium.

This is the first song Jason Ross and Seven Lions have released together this year. As they both continue to push boundaries and show off their fluidity in electronic music, there is no doubt that the pair will come together again.
