INZO has released “Bass In Yo Face,” a house track that gives listeners a sneak peek into the vibe of his next EP. The single has called in a new sound with mechanical soundbites and heartbeat-quicking build-ups. The hook, “All this bass in your face, yeah,” calls in a dancefloor-worthy beat with a wonky drop, staying true to the song title.

The title of the EP encapsulates exactly what the artist is doing – a sidequest. The artist has dipped his toes into house music in the past, explaining that it was one of the first genres he started creating. Even though he has found his space in melodic bass music, “Bass In Yo Face” shows a different side of INZO – and one that is being welcomed by listeners.

“I wanted to revisit making house music for fun since it was the first sort of electronic music I started to make when I was trying to navigate the production side of things,” INZO said on Instagram. “I really just wanted to do a project that felt fun [and] not too introspective,” he continued.

Music has no boundaries and INZO continuously leans into this. “Bass In Yo Face” follows Earth Magic, a cinematic album with real-life samples from nature. Before this, INZO was releasing warm future bass with dreamy synths. Anything that the producer touches turns to gold and “Bass In Yo Face” is continuing this trend.

His newest release is just a hint of the fresh music coming up on Sidequest. With the new single, INZO has announced that he will be playing special Sidequest sets before and after his shows in the near future. No matter the genre, INZO keeps his music exciting, and “Bass In Yo Face” is another example of his abilities.

There is not an official release date for the full EP yet so stay up-to-date on his social media. “Bass In Yo Face” is out now on all streaming platforms. Watch the visualizer for INZO’s house music debut, released on Lowly, here:
