ATLiens have released their debut album LEAVING THE WORLD BEHIND with thirteen songs and eleven collaborations. In true ATLiens’ spirit, it is centered around bass and touches several subgenres. Dubstep, melodic, and drum and bass all make their way into the artists’ first record.
The record’s first half features collaborations with GG Magree, Northside Hollow, Cxssidy, and Dion Timmer. The halfway point is marked with “TRAIN SONG,” a brief track that lightly switches the vibe. FRNDSbyMDNGHT and Denisse Borquez follow the interlude on “FLOWERS” before songs with One True God and YULTRON.
Roniit, YOOKIE and Cara Kay, and GRIMM and Tomb are on the next tracks. The title track with Coasting closes LEAVING THE WORLD BEHIND seamlessly with a calm ending and enticing narrative about the end.
The duo posted nothing but a link that led listeners to a website with a single audio file. One play button on the screen gave fans access earlier than anticipated. From front to back, ATLiens’ debut album has left fans excited about a new era.
The album’s accompanying tour will begin on November 8th for a two-night run in San Jose, California. They will play around the United States until March 8th when the tour will come full circle in Los Angeles. The full lineup for ATLiens’ LEAVING THE WORLD BEHIND tour is on their official website.
