At EDC Las Vegas last weekend, Zedd announced that his third album Telos is coming out this fall. It will be his first album in nine years and follow the successful True Colors and Clarity. While his hit “Clarity” played to thousands of people at the kineticFIELD stage, drones flew into the sky to reveal the news.
The drones were shaped into a stained-glass window similar to the album’s art before transforming into the artist’s logo and then the official confirmation of a new record. The show had given the crowd the release date and Zedd revealed the title shortly after.
Zedd has been an active musician since 2002 and began fully diving into dance music in 2010. In just two years, the dance-pop producer had become one of the biggest names on mainstream radio. Songs like “Clarity” and “Stay the Night” took over the 2010s and are some of the most recognizable tracks to this day.
Little is known about Telos, but Zedd has a history of collaborating with and featuring a variety of musicians. His second album had songs with artists like Jon Bellion and Troye Sivan and in recent years he has made tracks with Disclosure and Martin Garrix.
Since his debut album came out in 2012, Zedd has secured several residencies in Las Vegas and headlining spots at huge festivals. He is returning to Omnia Nightclub, Wet Republic, and Tao Beach this year. He is also playing Escapade, Beyond Wonderland, ILESONIQ, and more this summer.
Telos, the latest album from Zedd, is coming out on August 30th and is available to pre-save now. While we wait for the album, listen to his latest remix of “Where You Are” by John Summit and HAYLA:
