Sol Fest 2023

Sol Fest 2023 is bringing the heat this year.

Being held this year at Bama Slam Waterpark & Campground in New Brockton, Alabama, Sol hosts a three-day camping electronic music and arts festival, consisting of over 70 artists.

While last year’s inaugural event hosted an undercard packed to the brim with up-and-coming talent, this year a few of the world’s most renowned DJs decided to stop by.

WAKAAN head honcho, Liquid Stranger, and Deadbeats founders, Zeds Dead, have been gracious enough to bless us with their presence, headlining Friday and Saturday respectively. Legendary duo, Infected Mushroom, is sure to leave anyone in attendance at their set asking, “What just happened?”, in the best way possible.

Sitting just underneath, we are treated to a who’s who of top artists on the cusp of crossing over to that “superstar” threshold.

A rare B3B, consisting of Champagne Drip, Sully, and Luzcid should surely whet the appetite of those who go crazy when Subtronics asks “Do y’all like that weird shit?!?!”

Our favorite Pabst-drinking DJ, Tvboo, also brings his unique style to Sol, while Ravenscoon, making his second festival appearance, and Smokaland are sure to have the crowd rocking and garner the attention they deserve.

Sol Fest also makes use of the waterpark with Wreckno, Mija, and Skeler playing what can only be described as a tidal wave of bass.

For those who are trying to get the party started early, on Thursday you can join pioneer Flux Pavilion along with Tripp St, A Hundred Drums, Marvel Years, Evaluation, and Phlip.

A word of warning, however, as mysterious personality Deathpact is poised to make an appearance.  From what we know about him, which is very little, it seems that he has a point to prove in every set he plays and that can spell “danger” for those there.
