To the surprise and excitement of fans, Martin Garrix brought Alesso onto the mainstage at Ultra Music Festival to premiere their new collaboration, “Inside Our Hearts,” last night. The track, featuring Shaun Farrugia, captures the two iconic producer’s electro-pop and progressive styles beautifully.
Martin Garrix promised Miami a lot of surprises during his set, and he surely delivered. The producers have made an incredible impact on the scene, both being voted in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs multiple years in a row.
While playing, Martin Garrix revealed that the pair finished the motivational track two hours before getting on stage. Their music individually is emotional and melodic while still remaining upbeat, as shown through “Inside Our Hearts.”
Alesso and Martin Garrix have teased working together for a while, leaving listeners in anticipation. Despite not releasing any music together in the past, they have brought each other out at their shows and held b2b’s at prominent festivals like VELD Music Festival. The collaboration was confirmed during an interview with Martin Garrix in October.
