At Ultra Music Festival, Rezz played her next highly-anticipated collaboration with Grabbitz, showing off their ability to create diverse tracks that still capture their independent styles. She gave fans a sneak peek of the track, giving even more reason to be excited.
In the two videos she shared, the track goes deeper than their previous collaboration with low-frequency bass paired with Grabbitz’s clear vocals. The second video followed up the first with a more melodic, dubstep drop.
Rezz and Grabbitz released their collaboration, “Someone Else,” in 2020 with menacing guitars and Rezz’s classic midtempo bass. The single has thirty-nine million streams on Spotify and peaked at 16 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Song chart. After teasing that she would be playing the track at the festival, she suggested that fans would like the collaboration more than “Someone Else.”
Grabbitz release the deluxe edition of his album, Time Isn’t Real, last month and Rezz has dropped two singles so far this year. Neither producer has confirmed any details about the collaboration, but it is safe to say that the single may be a new fan favorite.
