Excision, Svdden Death, Sullivan King, and Wooli Play Huge B2B

Due to unforeseen weather circumstances at Forbidden Kingdom this weekend, four massive dubstep producers, now dubbed The Forbidden Four, came together to make sure that as many scheduled artists as possible would still be able to play their sets. Excision, SVDDEN DEATH, Sullivan King, and Wooli took the stage together, sending headbangers into madness as they brought heavy bangers to the iconic festival.

Dropping riddim remixes of tracks like “Holy” by Sam Smith and variations of their own tracks, those in attendance witnessed one of the hardest sets of the weekend – one that was not planned or fully confirmed until right before they went on. On Twitter, Sullivan King wrote, “Massive massive massive shoutout to Wooli and Svdden Death for havin Excision and me up for this set when the rain got ours cancelled, LOVE U BOTHHHH.”

The four have all worked together in the past in different ways, working on music and playing festivals and back-to-backs together over the years. Wooli also commented on the formation of The Forbidden Four, noting that he was ready for his set to be completely canceled. Pushing through adverse weather led to a b4b that will definitely be remembered.

Apart from a monumental performance from four of dubstep’s most in-demand artists, the situation exudes the community’s support. Everyone made the most of the circumstances and took in the feverish bass, (thankfully) posting videos and expressing how impressed they were.

While all four of them have not worked together to this extent, the reception of the set has opened the door to a ton of possibilities. Wooli, SVDDEN DEATH, and Excision are all featured on Thrones of Blood, Sullivan King’s most recent album. Listen to their collaborations here:
