Łaszewo has released their debut album In Color with eleven tracks of bliss. The electro-pop group is made up of producers Matt Ehrlich and Justin De La Fuente as well as singer Keeva (Kiki) Bouley. They dropped their first single in 2018 and in six short years, the trio has now dropped a record that exudes their vivid music, beginning with “Paper Cuts” and “Center of Silence.”
Throughout In Color, Bouley’s vocals are clear as synths and pianos play beneath them. The album’s lead single “Shimmering Light” is included toward the end as are previously-released tracks “Bottle For 2,” “Take The Night,” and “I Wanna Live.” The second half begins with “Supersonic (Interlude)” before its lone collaboration, “BREAK A SWEAT” with Distant Matter, plays.
“I’m Violent” and “Your Side of the Bed” continue the album before In Color ends with “Headed Back Home (Life’s in Color).” As a whole, the record’s instrumentals are energetic and synth-filled paired with lyrics that move the heart. It came after the band’s fifth anniversary, marking several milestones for the group.
To round the release weekend out, Łaszewo played to a massive crowd at North Coast Festival in Chicago. They will continue performing when they start a tour in Toronto on October 3rd where they will head down the East Coast for the rest of the month before playing in Texas at the beginning of November.
From there, they will perform in Salt Lake City, Denver, San Diego, and San Francisco before ending the month’s run in Vancouver. Details on the upcoming North American tour and their debut album are on their official website.
