Escapade Music Festival has released daily lineups for its return to Ottawa, Ontario from June 21st to the 23rd. The summer weekend is set to be packed with a variety of artists and an emphasis on house music. Electro-pop names like Zedd, Steve Aoki, and The Chainsmokers will appear at the festival on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday respectively.
On the other side of the spectrum, the three days will welcome producers including ISOxo, Kayzo, GorillaT, and Lev3l. Escapade is one of Canada’s premiere electronic music festivals and has been in the game since 2010.
Friday, June 21st
The first day of Escapade begins with a solid list of house DJs like AC Slater, Mau P, and Max Styler. Bass house artists Knock2 and Niiko x Swae will bring the party, along with Steve Angello, Hugel, and Return of the Jaded on the first day. Tchami and Malaa, or No Redemption, will join forces once again for a highly anticipated set.
On the heavier side of electronic music, day one will have a stage takeover with DIESEL and Shaq’s Bass All-Stars, along with CELO and Zubah. The first night will boast sets from Hairitage, bass trio Levity, and Crankdat b2b Riot Ten, also known as Dog Eat Dog.
Saturday, June 22nd
The second day of Escapade will welcome bass artists like Ganja White Night, Tape B, and Domeno. Melodic dubstep producers Illenium and OddKidOut are taking the stage, as well as multigenre artists like Seven Lions, Draeden, Avao, and Michael Sparks.
Ferry Corsten is premiering his trance project Gouryella and more will come from Vini Vici. Of course, all of the house is coming to Ottawa with artists including FISHER, Acraze, and Ilan Bluestone. BUNT., Pretty Pink, and Lucas & Steve are also playing on the second day, as are Maddix and drum and bass duo Chase & Status.
Sunday, June 23rd
The last night of Escapade is coming in hot with huge names like Armin Van Buuren, Subtronics, and SLANDER. More bass will be delivered from HAMRO and Imanu b2b Nitepunk, Morten, and singer-songwriters ALLEYCVT and GG Magree.
Day three is calling the dance music artists with house DJs like Lost Frequencies, Sammy Virji, Kyle Walker, and Cheyenne Giles. Goodboys, No Thanks, James Hype are also playing on Sunday, along techno producer Dave Summer. Noizu, Claptone, and Merow are set to blend the genres with tech-house.
