Rezz Teases New Collab With NGHTMRE on Halloween Weekend

Rezz and NGHTMRE have teamed up for a collaboration with vocalist DeathbyRomy, taking their otherworldly music to another level. Over the weekend, NGHTMRE teased the captivating track at Trio Nightclub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rezz later confirmed the collaboration, writing, “Myself [and NGHTMRE] randomly made an extremely awesome track which I will capture a video of me playing it this weekend.”

Just a day later, Rezz posted two videos of her dropping the unreleased song at Escape Music Festival. From the teasers, the midtempo track is complete with a progressive melody and drum build-ups. Lyrics like, “Can’t stop thinking that I shouldn’t be here,” are layered over a mix of laser sounds and, of course, bass.

None of the artists have worked together, making the collaboration even more exciting. NGHTMRE commented on the post, saying that he is, “…stoked to finally drop this one!” and fans are just as excited as he is. The blend of their styles is intriguing and not something that has been heard before.

Rezz is a powerhouse in electronic music, dominating the midtempo scene with her distinct, dramatic sound. NGHTMRE hits everything from trap to dubstep, experimenting with every new release. Add singer-songwriter DeathbyRomy’s dark tone on top, and the upcoming release is one to watch.
