3LAU has released his progressive house remix of “Falling Fast” by Seven Lions featuring GG Magree on Ophelia Records.
The original track follows Seven Lions’ melodic dubstep. 3LAU brings his own hard-hitting beats and electronic melodies to “Falling Fast,” turning it into a dance floor-worthy remix.
The two worked together in 2020 when Seven Lions remixed “Tokyo (feat. XIRA)” by 3LAU, adding melodic elements and slowing down the drops. These two separate remixes demonstrate the ways that their styles work well together.
3LAU has been experimenting with different styles of house and techno for ten years. While his roots remain in higher BPMs, he has curated a balanced discography. His 2022 EP, IRIDESCENT, shows off his skillset in different ways, drifting from his melodic house style and diving into underground techno influences.
