Zeds Dead continue their scorching hot 2023 with their latest release ‘One Three Nine’ on ‘Night Bass’.

The track also features popular English MC Scrufizzer.

Although an unexpected label for a Zeds Dead release, AC Slater‘s ‘Night Bass’ makes a fitting home for the scintillating bass house track.

Now it’s no secret that Zeds Dead are an incredibly versatile duo that can span genres; the two can seamlessly transition from a downtempo wavy vibe, like their ‘Catching Z’s’ album, to unleashing an absolute festival weapon that can light up a 50,000 person stadium, like ‘Ecstasy of the Soul’ with Griz.

Consider some of their latest releases: ‘S.O.S’ with Jauz and Nicole Millar; the aforementioned ‘Ecstasy of the Soul’; ‘The Machines’ with Blanke, and ‘In My Head’ with MKLA. All four contain unique, fusing sound design while falling into distinctly different edm subgenres. All four, bangers.

Still, ‘One Three Nine’ marks their first bass house release in quite some time. The track serves as their latest demonstration that not only can they do it all, but they can even outperform a given subgenre focused producer at his or her own specialized craft. This is not a comparison by any means. It’s simply a musing on the ambidexterity, dynamism, and sheer talent that we continue to witness with Zeds Dead.
