It’s always a big deal when Space Laces announces new music. The Louisville producer pleasantly surprised us today when he let the world know his first single of 2023 would be coming out this Thursday, January 19.
It’s been quite a while since we have had a solo release from him. Last October, the NGHTMRE & Space Laces Club Mix of the song ‘Trials’ by NGHTMRE was released. Aside from that, we haven’t gotten new music from one of the wizards of dubstep since the High Vaultage EP that dropped February 18, 2022.
Space Laces is one of the most known artists in the bass music world at sitting on boatloads of unreleased tunes. So, when he decides to share one with us every once in a blue moon, it perks the ears real quick. Hopefully, the release of ‘Survive’ is the first of more to come from him in 2023.
Over the course of 2022, he teased the track as an ID in multiple sets including Lost Lands and his b2b with Eptic at the Caverns. On Thursday, we can finally indulge in it, as Space Laces prepares for his massive Thunderdome set in a few weeks.
