Kx5, the powerhouse duo consisting of Kaskade and Deadmau5, will be releasing their long-awaited debut album on March 17th.

The producers first came together in 2006 and dropped their official single, “I Remember,” in 2008. Kaskade and Deadmau5 have both been credited as og’s in the EDM scene. The two have helped popularize different variations of house music beginning in the 1990s. 

Ryan Raddon came into the EDM scene in 1995 when he began playing at a small venue in New York. Kaskade was officially born after Ryan began to work for a record label that eventually granted him a deal. His first single was released in 2001.

Their most recent single, “Avalanche” featuring James French, dropped in November 2022. 

Joel Zimmerman, better known as Deadmau5, released his first album in 2005 after making music for seven years.  He has released 26 studio and compilation albums and EPs. Deadmau5 has been nominated for six Grammys. He has won fifteen awards for his music, as well as various Best Artist and Best DJ awards. 

Kx5 made history in December by playing the largest ticketed event in North America. They drew in around 50,000 attendees. Read more about their show at the Los Angeles Coliseum here
