On August 5th and 6th, Los Angeles will shake as electronic music artists and rappers join together to play the HARD Summer Music Festival. The weekend is set to be a thrill with Kaskade and John Summit going b2b on Saturday, followed by Skrillex b2b Four Tet on Sunday.
[Picture of lineup]The festival has been going strong in the southern California music scene since 2008 and has moved around the state, being hosted in Pomona, San Bernandino, and Los Angeles. This year, HARD Summer will be taking over the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Exposition Park, and BMO Stadium over one weekend.
Day One
Day one will feature sets from a range of genres by producers such as ISOxo, Netsky, Kaivon, and CHYL. Kayzo b2b Sullivan King will bring it up a notch, while Gorgon City and Dillon Francis will bring the party.
Kaskade and John Summit will headline together the first night, pleasing fans of both producers. This is their second time going b2b since New Year’s Eve. Read more about their set in San Francisco here.
Day Two
Day two is stacked with both rising and established dubstep artists. Peekaboo, FrostTop, Space Laces, and Tape B are just four of thirty sets taking place on Sunday. House and techno artists Deorro, Black Coffee, and Fleur Shore are also taking the stages. Skrillex and Four Tet will end the festival will a b2b after consistently playing sets together and collaborating for the past few months.
21 Savage and Kid Cudi are special guests, joining Ludacris and Fat Joe in rounding out the festival with other genres.
