The man, the icon, the legend. Skrillex has had a crazy start to 2023 already, and now his name has once again appeared on a U.S. festival lineup. That in itself is a big deal to so many in the electronic music world. It is also likely a festival you wouldn’t expect. Elements Music & Arts Festival is located in Long Pond, PA, and this looks to be a big year for them to make a splash and push to become one of the more well-known events in the country.

A major reason that it’s a big deal to see Skrillex‘s name on a festival lineup is that many people remember the 2 festivals he made last-minute cancellations on in 2022. Sunset Music Festival and Movement Music Festival were two festivals he was supposed to perform at, and a lot of attendees were not happy to see him back out so close to the festival weekends. He claimed, at the time, that his reason for doing so was to work on his album. In a barrage of vulnerable tweets that he recently posted, we found out the true reason why he didn’t feel comfortable performing. Thread below:

At the end of the day, it’s great to see his name consistently circulating through the EDM world again, an artist who many fans and current producers refer to as their greatest of all time.

Now, lets get to the other big names on the Elements lineup that are going to also draw your eyes. A DJ set from Porter Robinson is always a sight to see; when Porter goes up there and has fun with a set, it’s usually one for the books.

Subtronics will also add Elements to his already very busy 2023 schedule, which includes his Antifractal Tour as well as being almost a given for many of the biggest bass festivals, such as Lost Lands.

Househeads are going to have their plate full between Chris Lake, John Summit, Noizu, LP Giobbi and more.

On the lighter side, the beautiful sounds of Qrion, Zingara, SNBRN and more were booked for those who want to transcend in the nature of a Pennsylvania autumn.

From top to bottom, this is one of the more notable lineup announcements of 2023 so far. The festival will take place on August 11-14.
