Brownies & Lemonade have announced their throwback Open Aux show in Los Angeles this Wednesday. Following their pattern of recruiting rising artists, the brand is encouraging producers and listeners to promote their favorite artists for a chance to play at the event.

The acts are remaining a secret until the show, showing off Brownies & Lemonade’s ability to draw in supporters without any confirmation on who is playing. On Instagram, they confirmed that “[Brownies & Lemonade is] fortunate enough to bring a UK bass music icon and some amazing artists together for surprise sets with the return of our Open Aux party this week.”

In 2022, the brand celebrated its ten-year anniversary and the massive waves that it has made in the scene. Brownies & Lemonade curated a master playlist, shouting out the artists who helped them build their company and reflect their message. They are working with Alison Wonderland, GRiZ, ISOxo, and more musicians shaping the future of electronic music.

Catch One in Los Angeles, a nightclub known for hosting some of the best producers, is hosting the party. Brownies & Lemonade is known for going above and beyond with its shows, finding interesting and unique places to set up.

Open Aux premiered two years ago and serves as a showcase for rising artists. The “bass music icon” mentioned previously is being kept under wraps for now, but a set of emojis was added to their post. A lightning bolt, plus sign, wave, skull, and electrical plug were all included, possibly teasing the lineup.

Buy tickets for Open Aux on May 10th here and nominate an artist you believe in on Brownie & Lemonade’s social media. To stay up-to-date with new releases, listen to “B&L’s Fresh Batch Friday” playlist, updated weekly.
