Emorfik has dropped his second album Project Containment. The album keeps the artist’s angry sound and dives into various genres. While centered around heavy dubstep and riddim, the producer has called on higher tempos in several tracks.

Project Containment starts with “Containment” – a bass house track that begins with a security alarm and a distorted voice stating, “This is not a drill.” The same voice narrates the project and goes into heavy dubstep songs “IDGAF,” Mind Alter,” and “Trip Sitter.” From here, Emorfik plays with different genres.

Drum and bass makes an appearance in “Move,” a high-energy track that cuts the heavy dubstep before it returns on “Shape Shifter” and “Trust No One” with Micah Martin. Emorfik pivots into hard techno on the second-to-last song “Just Breathe.”

Project Containment ends with the atmospheric collaboration “Face Myself” with Bella Renee, a melodic dubstep song that ends with a soothing acoustic guitar and a farewell from the narrator. He says, “Sometimes in this life we live in, we may lose our hope and purpose to continue on. But I believe in you – I always believed in you. You must face yourself and keep pushing forward.”

Emorfik has been making a name for himself since 2020 and has quickly risen in the ranks. His debut album The End was met with support from old and new listeners. As he consistently evolves his style and works toward his future, he has pushed himself as a musician.

Towards the end of July, Emorfik began releasing one single from Project Containment weekly. He said of the record’s release, “I really tried so many different things with this album and I genuinely think it’s me…but in a new way.”
