From Illenium to ISOxo, 2023 is already set to be packed with fresh releases. 2022 is coming to a close, but there is still an infinite amount of tracks to look forward to in the new year.
Illenium:
While no release date or name has been officially announced, Illenium’s top listeners on Spotify received confirmation that his new album will be coming out sometime in 2023. His sixth studio album comes after his 2021 release, Fallen Embers. The melodic dubstep producer will ring in the new year with over 490 million streams.
Tiësto:
Tiesto has been producing house tracks for almost three decades. He revealed that his newest album, Drive, will go in a different direction than his past tracks and be more house-focused.
It will have twelve tracks. A number of singles featuring artists like Charli XCX and Tate McRae have already been released. Drive is set to release on February 24th and is available to pre-save on Apple Music.
ISOxo:
ISOxo announced his debut album, KIDSGONEMAD!, last month. The heavy trap producer has been creating bass face-inducing tracks since 2017. His latest EP, Nightrealm, is packed with insane build-ups and drops. He has collaborated with artists such as RL Grime and Peekaboo, as well as G Jones and Knock2.
Kx5:
Kx5, the powerhouse duo consisting of Kaskade and Deadmau5, teased their long-awaited album this last year. It will be their first collaboration on an album. In 2022 alone, Kx5 has released four singles and one remix EP.
The two have helped popularize different variations of house music beginning in the 1990s. They first came together in 2006 and dropped their collaboration, “I Remember,” two years later. Most recently, Kx5 made history by holding the largest ticketed event. Read more about their show at the Los Angeles Coliseum here.
Liquid Stranger:
Liquid Stranger’s music label, sskwan, confirmed that his newest EP, “Unity,” will be released sometime in the new year. Based off of the groovy first single, “Smoke N Hope,” the EP will primarily focus on a downtempo, vibey sound.
