Kanine has revealed that he and and Sub Focus are seemingly teaming up. The former posted a picture of Sub Focus to his Instagram story, capturing the artist working on music. He added text to it that read, “Cooking up something transcendental with dnb Jesus.”
The pair have not worked together, building anticipation for drum and bass fans. Both hail from the United Kingdom and have decades of combined experience with lengthy discographies. As two multitalented producers, it is easy to get excited about the idea of Kanine and Sub Focus collaborating.

Kanine is a versatile artist with a knack for exploring drum and bass as a whole. From jump-up to liquid, his music is perfect for the dancefloor. He has released music for almost 10 years on labels like UKF and independently through his own Unleashed Music. In the second half of last year, Kanine played a DnB Allstars 360 set, performed at Hard Summer in Los Angeles, and headlined shows around the world.
Sub Focus is a longtime artist and has become well-known with punchy beats and influence from electronic music as a whole. He has broken boundaries in the drum and bass and helped spread the genre to a larger audience by amassing millions of streams and playing spots at huge festivals like EDC Orlando. It was recently announced that he will play mainstage at Tomorrowland in July.
Neither has revealed anything else about a collaboration, but the idea is out there and something from the pair may be coming soon.
