Calcium has dropped his first single of 2023, “Bullet Rain,” on Bassweight Records. Every drop is different than the prior, bringing in various sounds from riddim, dubstep, and experimental bass.
Kamiyada+’s quick, aggressive verses build anticipation with a higher-tempo build-up before leading into the first dirty riddim drop. The track pivots into the second drop with a wonky bass on top of the already-established heavy beat, prepping listeners for the second-half.
The track accelerates into a surprising drop with unique bass, melting brains and keeping the single interesting. “Bullet Rain” ends with a dirty dubstep drop with the same level of bass as before.
