With less than a month until VELD Music Festival takes over Downsview Park, the event has released this year’s stage lineups. The festival has revealed that it will have three stages split up by genre. Toronto will welcome the Sirkus, Bass, and Main Stage from August 2nd to August 4th.
Sirkus Stage
The Sirkus Stage has been deemed the house and techno stage. Longtime producers like Green Velvet and Boys Noize are taking the stage, along with house music artists Elderbrook, Ben Böhmer, and Wax Motif. Tita Lau, Marsh, and Max Styler are bringing the party to the stage while techno DJs HI-LO, Le Youth, and Cirez D bring the deeper beats.
Bass Stage
The bass stage is bringing the big guns with heavyweights like Black Tiger Sex Machine, Ray Volpe, Kayzo (Unleashed XL), and Vastive b2b RZRKT. Dubstep artists Subtronics and HOL! and trap producer ISOxo are playing, while the more melodic side of bass music will come from artists like Dabin, MitiS, and ARMNHMR. SLANDER and Seven Lions are also taking the Bass Stage, bringing the emotion.
Main Stage
The Main Stage will serve as the scene for several significant moments for VELD. The festival will use its biggest stage to showcase globally-known artists and iconic dance tracks. FISHER is set to make event history as the first house music headliner and Eric Prydz is making the Canadian debut of his audiovisual show HOLO.
Alesso and Martin Garrix are returning to the Main Stage, as are Steve Aoki, Kaskade, and Oliver Heldens. Other artists include Marshmello, Alan Walker, and Sam Feldt b2b Jonas Blue, also known as Endless Summer. Alok, Kream, and more will join them.
No matter what genre attendees prefer, each stage is sure to be a party. Get ready for a weekend of electronic dance music and check out the full lineup here:
