Masked drum and bass producer REAPER released his official remix of ‘On My Own’ by Said the Sky and William Black last Friday.
The track, which features vocalist SayWeCanFly, is originally all sadboi energy. However, REAPER offers a spicy reimagination, as he continues to pave his own path with his chaotic, modern twist on dnb and drumstep.
There is little information out there about REAPER, as he purposely keeps his identity anonymous. But, we do know he burst onto the scene in early 2020 off of a few Monstercat releases and an electric debut set with Brownies and Lemonade in Los Angeles.
REAPER’s most streamed track to date is his collab with Blanke – ‘Death Rattle’. He has also dropped several big name remixes for the likes of David Guetta, Seven Lions, and Gryffin, and his remix of Griztronics by Subtronics and Griz became a staple in Illenium’s live set over the past year.
REAPER continues to gain momentum, and if his recent work is any indication, we can surely expect a lot more to come from the REAPER project in the future.
